What a debut!
Sketch comedy is hard. You've got a limited amount of time to build characters, plot, deliver the joke and get out. And then you have to do that again, fifteen or 20 times, without whiffing.
Writing it is hard, performing it is hard, and all the skills that make you great at sketch also make you pretty good at improv - but improv gets you a free pass for whiffing because it's done "live".
All that to say this all-femme troupe chose to do the hard thing and nailed it. The sketches are funny, biting and unexpected. The energy remains high throughout.
This is a sketch troupe to keep your eye on.
