I love seeing Fringe shows come up with new and inventive ways to make their staging feel grand and immersive, while operating on shoestring budgets with ten minute setup and teardown times.
The Beanstalk Market Crash purports to do just that.
It takes a ridiculous premise – Jack's heirs are having a capitalist dispute with the Goose that laid the golden egg – but then uses shadow puppetry, camcorders, perspective and creative special effects to sell the giant scope of the story.
I can't wait.
