Edmonton's best bakery is finally reopening.

The Hazeldean Bakery will finally have its grand reopening tomorrow, October 20th.

It closed at the end of last year after its owner, Lucy, decided to retire and go to Vancouver to be with her family.

RIP.

But I am so excited for it to reopen. Those in the know absolutely know it had the best apple fritters in Edmonton.

And bonus, it's all gonna be free.

A post in the Hazeldean Community Facebook group announcing the bakery's soft opening tomorrow at 9am, open until they run out of product. Lucy will be there to see her old customers, and as a gesture to the community nothing will be charged. "Come on by and grab a free pastry!"

The announcement in the Hazeldean Community Facebook group.

It's gonna open up at 9 a.m. and go until they run out of product. And even when Lucy was there and charging, they ran out of product.

Lucy will be there saying hi to all the members of the community that she's missed over the past year.

I'm gonna be there, you should be there. Get your apple fritter.
