Here's the facts about infill in Edmonton: very, very, VERY few 7 and 8-plexes are actually being constructed, and the ones that are represent an exceptionally small proportion of housing stock being built.

These infill developments are going into neighbourhoods where generally population has significantly DECLINED compared to when they were constructed. And despite complaints about parking, when evaluating the available parking stock, it tends to more than meet the needs of residents in the area.

If you enjoy chaining yourself to trees recreationally, I'm not gonna yuck your yum. But its probably a disproportionate response to housing being built in your neighbourhood.
