Endorsing Ashley is the easiest decision I've ever made in my life.

She is truly, without hyperbole, one of the best, most effective councillors we've seen in a generation. She makes decisions and plans not just for next quarter, next term, or next election, but for the next decades and next generation.

She has heartfelt conversations with voters to truly learn everything she can, and then she works with her team, colleagues and her own exceptional brain and talent and synthesizes solutions and gets them passed.

For all the debate about Bike Lanes perpetually permeating City Hall, Ashley is the only person that was able to meaningfully build consensus and get the biggest step forward Edmonton has ever seen passed.

She has been a powerful voice for curbing sprawl, for encouraging density, for demanding accountability from the police and for better transit.

She's offered herself up to serve another four years. To not take her up on that would be ludicrous and one of the biggest self-owns in Edmonton history.
