I can't wait for this show.
A couple of years ago, I had a middling impression of Top Bunk Theatre's Soup and Hogan's 16th Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest ★★☆☆☆ (2024) . The idea had great legs, but I thought it needed a bit more time workshopping.
Then, last year, they gave Sam's Clam and Oyster Bar ★★★★½ (2025) the exact amount of workshopping it needed. The show was silly, zany and legitimately laugh-out-loud funny.
This is a fiercely talented, creative bunch and I can't wait to see what they're doing next.
(Plus a new, original musical every year! Very ambitious!)
